Oakley Men's Sliver F Black Frame Gray Lens Rectangular 57mm Sunglasses

Product Review (submitted on May 24, 2024):
My review focuses on how the Oakley Hallbrook XL with Prizm and Polarized affect windows and windshields that are tinted. I own Oakley Jawbreakers for cycling which have the Prizm technology and there have been times I get in the car still wearing them and see no effect as I am experiencing with the Hallbrook series.

With the Hallbrook XL lenses, I am seeing the vertical color gamut looking out my windows that are tinted. I have both 3M crystalline as well as 3M tinting. They all display either verticle color gamuts, meaning the the colors of the “rainbow” in a vertical layout or as blotches on my windshield and side tinted windows. I also notice purple blotches on building office windows that have tinting as well.

When it comes to amplifying the greens from bushes, yellows in street lines, it looks wonderful, but everything else is a mess. I dont see many people reporting this, but it does exist. I dont believe ot has to do with being polarized, but more relating to the prizm tech Oakley uses to manipulate the color spectrum. It doesn’t go will with tinted windows. Which is also odd because its not the case with my Oakley Jawbreakers also with Prizm tech.

The frames fit well and when outside colors look amazing. Im just debating whether this is going to be a safety issue while driving, which is why I purchased this pair of Oakley Hallbrooks for. I hope this helps others be aware of this concern.
