These goggles worked perfectly for my wife, and the color against the snow does block out the sun. Comes with its own carrying bag to keep them from getting damaged. I was a bit skeptical at first when I found this specific pair of goggles. I left it in my amazon cart, checked some local places having their spring sales, but none of them were purple OR cheaper than the budget I had. The quality was something I was willing to take a leap of faith on considering that the ones I used to own were literally bottom of the barrel with little to no glare protection and I got “snow hypnosis” more than a few times.
