These "Men's" sunglasses work for women as well. I will bike with no other lenses. Other lenses provide shade, but also shade areas of the road I need to see clearly. No matter what the sun/shade conditions, these lenses brighten/filter enough to wear during bright sun or afternoon dusk. In addition to that, the clarity was surprisingly keen and glare greatly under control. I don't know if it was my imagination, but I thought the colors were more brilliant when wearing the glasses. I purchased these to use while driving the school bus. I liked them so well, I immediately ordered a second pair to keep in my car.
